Danger Arms is a locally & veteran-owned company proudly dedicated to catering to it's community.

Danger Arms is owned and operated by Travis Shelton, a U.S. Navy veteran, firearms professional, and lifelong martial artist proudly based in Pahrump, NV, where he has lived since relocating from Las Vegas in 1999.

Travis began self-defense training at the age of 8 and has spent his life developing practical techniques in Wrestling, Muay Thai, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, edged weapon defense, and firearms instruction. He previously served as an instructor at Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, where he taught across every available course offering.

He is also the 33rd of 38 shooters worldwide to achieve the Handgun Combat Master status under the Chuck Taylor-derived certification from Frontsight Firearms Institute. With more than 13 years of professional instruction experience, Travis is also certified through the NRA, USCCA, and U.S. LawShield..

His background includes real-world defensive encounters and the legal processes that follow them, giving him a practical, experience-driven approach to teaching self-defense. His focus is preparing students for the realities of violence with clarity, discipline, and accountability.

Danger Arms exists to build competent, confident, and responsible defenders. Every class is taught with the expectation that each skill may one day matter in a life-or-death moment. Above all, Danger Arms is a product of the Pahrump community, and it remains committed to serving it with respect and gratitude.
